1966 Supro Statesman S6699 - SN 1-93006
Supro Statesman S6699 vintage electric guitar valve/tube amplifier head and 2 x 12 speaker cabinet for sale in stunning (barely used?) condition.
Fresh from a sympathetic service - this is as close as you can get to a new mid-sixties amp. Complete set of what appear to be the original RCA valves - a real time capsule.
Made by Valco in Chicago around 1966 it uses four (original) RCA 6L6 valves to produce 70w of glorious tube tone via its twin Jensen speaker cabinet.
There’s something very special about old Valcos and this one does not disappoint - the tone is fabulous and the tremolo goes deep and slow.
